Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd Community Council
Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd Community Council includes the villages of Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd, Graigfechan, Pentrecelyn, Pentre Coch and extends into Llanrhydd. We are an elected body of 10 councillors from across the area, all with different backgrounds and experiences.

The White Horse is considering becoming community-run. The Community Council is helping to spread the word and serving as a point of contact for community discussion of the matter. More information and a questionnaire to gauge interest can be found here.
The next meeting of the Community Council will be held at the Llysfasi Community Hub, at 7:30pm on the 13th of July.

We meet every month, apart from August, in different venues around the area. Venues include the Genus Centre and Coleg Cambria Llysfasi. A calendar of dates is produced at least a year in advance and venues are published as soon as availability is confirmed, but at least 3 months in advance of the meeting.
We have an elected chair and vice chair. The Clerk deals with all our correspondence and is the Responsible Financial Officer. Members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings, where we discuss things such as highways, footpaths and buildings and give our views and comments on planning applications before they
are sent before the County Council.
